No Spam Comments

This blog belongs to me, Liberty Minnie, and I get to choose what gets written here.  That means I am not here to help you sell fake Rolexes.

Spammers who write two-or-four word comments in order to place a link to their own web site not only won’t be approved, they will not even be seen by me as they are caught automatically.

Comments full of bad language, sexual harassment, cat-hating and bigotry/anti-Semitism have very little chance of being approved. Intelligent, thoughtful, civil and correctly spelled comments will probably be approved if not too far off-topic, provided Liberty Minnie doesn’t hit the wrong button by mistake.

It is possible for a blogger to set his blog to not allow comments at all.  Because of the growing problem of comment spam, the no-comments setting may become the norm.

Liberty Minnie would like to suggest that readers consider starting their own blog— it’s very easy to do, and you can comment on the content of other people’s blogs perfectly well on your own blog, and no one has to spend time moderating the spam/hate comments in search of one intelligent one.
